Antonella Autuori

A workshop exploring how AI can transform the way we imagine, create, and communicate, offering methods and tools to integrate it critically and creatively into design practices.

Antonella Autuori works at the Institute of Design at SUPSI. She contributed to Designing With, a Movetia-funded project with EPFL and Universidade Nova de Lisboa, integrating AI, machine learning, and data visualization into design curricula. She is currently a PhD student in Design at RMIT University and SUPSI, where her research explores critical design methodologies and critical sociotechnical data literacy to examine how epistemic and representational biases in generative AI shape data practices and imaginaries. She develops visual methodologies and experimental processes that expose hidden assumptions and ethical tensions embedded in technological infrastructures, engaging AI systems through practices of care, accountability, and critical reflection. Since 2022, she has also served as a programme committee member of VISAP.
